The Theatrum becomes a cinema!
Each meeting/screening will start with a 20-minute lecture given by an expert on each film’s specific genre (i.e. Screwball Comedy, Science Fiction, Film Noir, etc.) -a different topic each time
This is followed by the screening of the film
After the film, we have questions and discussion involving all in attendance.
You'll NEVER see movies the same way again!
You will learn the specific characteristics of each genre of film, and see how the movies you currently watch have roots in these "tropes" that influence cinema through the ages.

Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available, along with our Popcorn bar with TWO NEW Signature Toppings available (one sweet and one savoury) at each Film Club event!
