ABOUT
Inspired by Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and theatre, Theatre Bacchus is a professional live theatre operating in the Niagara Benchlands – between Hamilton and Niagara-on-the-Lake – in the heart of Niagara’s wine country. We provide an enhanced theatre-going experience combining live theatre with local wine, craft beer, or local spirits in a relaxed, ‘hosted’ environment.
Lana Borsellino - Artistic Director and Founder
With an honours degree in Dramatic Arts from McMaster University, Lana earned her Specialist in Drama in Education at Stratford from OISE.
A strong advocate of the arts in education, she has presented at several major conferences. From 2013 to 2019, as Department Head of Religion, Social Sciences and Humanities, she was Head Drama Teacher, where she launched many theatrical initiatives and established a strong theatre programme and culture at her school.
An award-winning actor and director in the GHA theatre community where she has been acting and directing since 2004.
