Adults from 12:30-2:00 pm
Each course builds on different theatre/performance skill
There are no “marks” in this course, only feedback and encouragement from the facilitator. There are self-reflections and peer reflections (what worked, what could work next time), which equals a safe environment!
You will learn some theory, a new skill set, put them into practice and CREATE!
Meet your instructor, Lana Borsellino!
Lana has been involved in stage performance since she was 4 years old. She is an award-winning actor and director with her honors degree in Theatre from McMaster University and her Specialist from OISE at Stratford. Over her 30 year career in education, she has taught every grade from 2 to 12, launching strong programming and opportunities in The Arts to every school wherever she taught. A strong advocate for The Arts and creativity in the curriculum and in life, she has been a presenter at several major conferences in Ontario. She has led many adults as a director of a wide range of plays and musicals, as well as teaching professionals, in workshops and at events, how the skills of performing arts enhance every aspect of work and leisure life!
By the end of the first 4-week session you will:
